At Radio Fremantle, all our presenters are required to meet a certain level before they are considered for a program.To ensure this certain level is met they must undertake a Radio Training Course. However, if you would like to present a program on Radio Fremantle and have previous on-air experience, you may be exempt from the course. You will still be required to be assessed by the stations' training officers.
The Radio Fremantle Training Course is held in conjunction with Murdoch University.
The course is conducted over fourteen evening sessions at two sessions weekly between 7:00 and 9:00PM. Successful graduates will get a Certificate of Completion from Murdoch University.
The fee is $300 (Including GST). This includes full membership of the station during the duration of the course and access to the Production Studio. This will enable you to obtain hands-on experience in a studio environment and the ability to record your own, all important, demo tape/CD.
