If you need to promote a product or service, an upcoming event or a new business venture, consider becoming a sponsor on Radio Fremantle. Radio Sponsorship is very similar to Radio Advertising. The major difference is that, where commercial stations can play commercials every three minutes, community radio can broadcast station sponorships for a total period of five minutes in any one hour. Whilst this may be seen as a 'restrictive' service, it does have its advantages - particuarly for sponsors. Having just five minutes in any one hour means that the sponsorship announcements are evenly spread throughout the day. They are not 'clustered' into blocks and your message will have more impact on your target audience.

Our weekday is broken into five categories - Morning, Mid-Morning, Afternoon, Drive and Evenings. On Saturday's the categories are - Morning, Afternoonand Evening. As Sunday is devoted to our large ethnic audience, there is no specific category. However, if you are targeting a special niché market, you may wish to contact one of our ethnic broadcasters.

Sponsorship is an important contribution to the day-to-day operations of Radio Fremantle. We believe we have tailored several attractive packages to meet the budget conscious business.

In return for your sponsorship, we will produce and record 30-second promotional messages. You can specify what type of voice-over you require (male/female) and whether the voice should be mellow, medium or a 'shout'. Furthermore, you can choose to have a 'cold' (no music or effect) read, or choose from a variety of music-beds.

As per the guidelines of the Community Broadcasting Authority, station sponsorships must include - either through the message or tagged at the end - the words 'station sponsor'. As a further incentive for your support, we will also feature your company on our Website for one full calender month at no extra charge.

Our rates start as low as $2.75 per 30-second spot (based on a six-month contract). 45 and 60 second spots are calculated on the following basis: 60 seconds = add 50%,  45 seconds = add 25%. We provide a fixed rate which means that you, the the client nominates the day(s) of the week and the time(s) at which the announcements are to be broadcast.
