Radio Fremantle 107.9FM is an independent community radio station broadcasting to Fremantle and surrounding areas since 1987.

The station provides a varied choice of programming ranging from classical to jazz, folk to country. In addition, Sunday's are dedicated to our large ethnic audience.

The station is located in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia, four kilometers from the historical City of Fremantle and approximately eighteen kilometers from the City of Perth.

 

As a community radio station, Radio Fremantle encourages its listeners to participate in the day-to-day operations of the station.

Membership is also an ideal way to demonstrate your support and sponsorship is a cheap and effective method to not only promote your product or business but also highlight your community participation. Our Membership Page provides all the information you need to know about becoming a member of Radio Fremantle. It costs just $33.00 per year (individual rate.)

"Classics for Lunch" with Christopher Dyson. Every Thursday between 11AM and 1PM. Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Cecilia Bartoli, Valery Gergiev, Renee Fleming and many more can be heard on this popular classical program.
